Learn Hebrew Through Stories is a unique, stories-based course that will help you learn Hebrew.
We learn languages when we understand the messages we see and hear, called input, and stories are one of the best ways of providing meaningful input that leads to language learning.
LEARN HEBREW THROUGH STORIES IS FOR YOU IF…
• you want to learn Hebrew, but don’t have the time (or money) for regular private lessons;
• you use Duolingo, Drops, Memrise etc. to learn words, but struggle to put sentences together;
• you can read Hebrew with or without nikkud, but find it challenging to understand spoken Hebrew; or
• you have a mess of vocab lists and verb conjugation charts, but it’s not ‘coming together’ in a useful way.
Why learn Hebrew through stories? Stories are interesting and entertaining, so they keep our attention and we retain them better; they provide context to vocabulary, so you’re not memorizing words in isolation; and they teach grammar naturally, so you learn relevant rules as you encounter them.
The course has been great and my vocabulary, listening, reading, comprehension and speaking skills have definitely improved. I walk around the house saying phrases from the story in my head! I absolutely love filling in the blanks, it’s helping my reading skills. I like the match the audio to the sentence, and the unscramble is great too because I’m able to test my grammar skills.

Every unit includes a story in video, audio, and text formats, as well as a vocabulary list, both with and without nikkud (vowels).
