About Me
I’m T’helah Ben-Dan, Founder + Director of The Kefar. I’ve worked in education since 2007, having the pleasure of teaching and coaching in both the US and Israel.
I founded The Kefar in 2012 to provide diverse Hebrew learning materials. I began teaching Hebrew online in 2015, while operating an in-person immersive Hebrew preschool to grade 1 program. After four years of teaching in both physical and virtual classrooms in the US and Israel, I transitioned fully into teaching Hebrew online. In 2017, I also began designing curricula for English and Hebrew language programs, and language consulting.
On a more personal note: I love to read; I’m a fantastic baker (cinnamon rolls and challah bread are my specialties); I’m learning Spanish with the goal of achieving advanced proficiency; and I enjoy leisure travel with family and friends.
