If you’re manually copying links to add your YouTube videos to Canvas or another LMS, you’re doing it wrong!
When I started using Canvas LMS for my online Hebrew classes several months ago, I would upload my video recordings to YouTube, copy the link, open the class in Canvas, add a page, then paste the link. Sharing my YouTube videos to Canvas wasn’t hard, but it took a few steps. It was also time-consuming to repeat for multiple classes – and if there’s one thing teachers already don’t have enough of, it’s time.
I realized one day that since I was organizing all my YouTube videos in playlists for each class, I could just embed the playlist into my LMS. Then, whatever videos I added to the playlist would automatically post on Canvas. That’s it! No extra steps beyond uploading the videos to YouTube.
